Youth & Children Pastor - Rev. Eric Segars
Rev. Eric Segars joined Mount Pleasant Baptist Church as Associate Pastor of Youth and Children on Sept. 17, 2018. Eric and his wife, DeAnna, have three children -- Garrett, Reese and Charla. Eric has more than 20 years of experience with student and children ministries. Eric and DeAnna share a passion to see students to come to know Jesus!
Hispanic Pastor - Carlos Perez
Rev. Carlos Perez is the Pastor of our Hispanic ministry. Carlos and his wife, Rosy, began this ministry at MPBC in 2020 and have seen it grow in amazing ways! Their mission will be our first Hispanic church plant! We are excited to see what God does through Carlos and Rosy!
Music Pastor - Rev. R. Terry Hooper
Rev. R. Terry Hooper began his ministry and MPBC in October 2021. Terry and his wife, Paula, have served in ministry in Blairsville, Ga., and Hayesville, NC, throughout the last 30 years. Terry is a trained musician and talented choir director who has already had a major impact on the MPBC music program! Terry and Paula have three children and one grandchild!
